How do you know if you need an alignment job? Experienced Bradenton mechanic explains what you need to know

Hi, Rick from ABC Autotech here,

One of the most important things vehicle owners need to know is how to check their car’s alignment. Alignment does what it says. It aligns the direction of the wheels to the vehicle so that they are pointed in a straight line. Problems with alignment can lead to a lot of issues. It can cause your tires to wear out earlier than they should and can also cause the front end of the car to point or pull to one side.

In order to tell if your vehicle needs alignment, you can test-drive your car on a straight path. You should do so in different roads and highways and make sure that there are no strong winds which can affect the direction of the car. The car should go on a straight line. It should not drift to the left or right. If your car drifts, you should add air to your tires as needed. Take another test drive and if drifting still happens, you should have your car aligned by professionals.

‘Till next time, be safe out there!
